PILOT PROJECT
Training programme for the refrigeration maintenance sector
GTZ received an official request from the Government of Brazil to organize a pilot training programme for the
refrigeration maintenance sector.
The activities under this project are
- training of trainers for 20 participants in the region of Sao Paulo
- training of 200 technicians in good refrigeration practices
- development of a country-wide training scheme for 35,000 technicians.
Thanks to these activities, the following goals will be achieved
- a representative group of 200 technicians trained in good refrigeration practices who will
- reduce the CFC consumption in their specific companies by 40% and
- the developing of a training scheme for 35,000 technicians from the refrigeration maintenance sector
This project is conceived as a contribution to UNDP's activities for an Refrigerant Management Plan for Brazil.
